What language does Lingon teach? +
Lingon is designed for learning Swedish. Articles come from SVT, TV4, and Expressen. Translations are available in English, Chinese, Arabic, French, and German.
Do I need an internet connection? +
You need internet to fetch news articles. Translations use Apple's on-device models when available, so they work without sending data to external servers.
What devices are supported? +
Lingon requires an iPhone running iOS 26.2 or later.
What does the Pro subscription include? +
Pro subscribers get unlimited articles, cloud translations via Gemini API as a fallback, unlimited AI chat messages, five Swedish TTS voices with speed control, and unlimited saved articles.
How do I look up a word? +
Long-press any word in an article to bring up the built-in iOS dictionary.
How do I restore my subscription? +
Open the app, go to Settings, tap Premium, then tap Restore Purchases at the bottom of the screen.
