Privacy Policy
Lingon
Lingon respects your privacy. Translations are processed on-device using Apple Foundation Models whenever possible. Your saved articles, reading preferences, and settings are stored locally on your device. No account or sign-in is required. The app fetches news articles from public RSS feeds (SVT, TV4, Expressen). Firebase is used to deliver pre-translated article data. Pro subscribers may have article text sent to Google's Gemini API for translation and AI chat — only the article text is sent, no personal information. Subscription purchases are handled by Apple through StoreKit. Lingon does not include advertising, does not use tracking frameworks, and does not collect personal data. Deleting the app removes all stored data. For privacy questions, contact chengdai.dev@gmail.com.
